Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Mazola® Corn Oil
  • 1½ pounds bistec meat
  • Seasoned salt, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, halved and sliced
  • ½ white onion, halved and sliced
  • 3 jalapeños, halved and sliced lengthwise
  • 2 yellow potatoes, diced
  • 1 can hot tomato sauce (such as El Pato)
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Cut meat into small, thin pieces.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of Mazola® Corn Oil to a pan.
  3. Add meat to pan, season to your liking (using seasoned salt and salt).
  4. Mix, cover and cook meat on medium-low heat for 15 minutes.
  5. Add a dash of Mazola® Corn Oil to meat and add in vegetables.
  6. Mix well, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Add diced potatoes.
  8. Add the hot tomato sauce.
  9. Add 1 cup of water.
  10. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked.
  11. Plate and enjoy!
