Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Mazola® Corn Oil
- 1 ½ pounds beef skirt steak, sliced
- 1 medium onion, cut into strips
- 2 green peppers, cut into strips
- 2 red peppers, cut into strips
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat Mazola® Corn Oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add the sliced beef to the hot skillet in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
- Let the beef sear for up to 2 minutes before stirring, so it develops a nice brown color.
- Stir for another few minutes until the beef is mostly browned but still slightly pink in the center.
- Add the onion strips, green peppers, and red peppers to the skillet with the beef.
- Stir everything together for about 5 minutes, until the onions become slightly translucent.
- Sprinkle in the dried oregano, garlic salt, and paprika. Stir well to coat the beef and vegetables evenly.
- Continue cooking for another 2 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked through.
- Remove from heat and serve alongside Mexican rice and beans.
- Enjoy!
