Ingredients

  • 4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • ¼ ounce of rapid rise instant yeast
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons of Mazola® Corn Oil
  • 1 orange, zested
  • ½ cup of warm milk
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.
  2. Add the eggs, Mazola® Corn Oil, and orange zest. Mix again, then slowly add the warm milk while mixing and kneading until a soft dough forms.
  3. Place the dough in a bowl greased with 1 tablespoon of Mazola® Corn Oil. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
  4. Once risen, shape the dough into a round loaf. Form smaller pieces of dough into “bones” and a small “cranium” to place on top of the bread.
  5. Transfer the shaped dough to a baking sheet greased with Mazola® Corn Oil. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  6. Brush the top with a little Mazola® Corn Oil and bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. While still warm, sprinkle granulated sugar over the top. Serve and enjoy!
