Ingredients
- 4 cups of all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- ¼ ounce of rapid rise instant yeast
- 4 eggs
- 6 tablespoons of Mazola® Corn Oil
- 1 orange, zested
- ½ cup of warm milk
- ½ cup of granulated sugar
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.
- Add the eggs, Mazola® Corn Oil, and orange zest. Mix again, then slowly add the warm milk while mixing and kneading until a soft dough forms.
- Place the dough in a bowl greased with 1 tablespoon of Mazola® Corn Oil. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
- Once risen, shape the dough into a round loaf. Form smaller pieces of dough into “bones” and a small “cranium” to place on top of the bread.
- Transfer the shaped dough to a baking sheet greased with Mazola® Corn Oil. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Brush the top with a little Mazola® Corn Oil and bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While still warm, sprinkle granulated sugar over the top. Serve and enjoy!
